Doctor & Associates Welcomes Claudia Castiblanco, M.D.

Leslie Doctor M.D. and the staff at Doctor & Associates welcome Comprehensive Ophthalmologist, Ocular Immunology and Uveitis specialist, Claudia Castiblanco, M.D. to our practice. Dr. Leslie Doctor commented, "We are thrilled to have Dr. Castiblanco with us to see routine eye exams as well as patients with cataracts, needing cataract surgery and lens implants, medical laser and surgical treatment of glaucoma and the diagnosis and treatment of retina disease such as age related macular degeneration (AMD) and diabetic eye disease and retinopathy.

In addition, her training and experience brings our community access to care for complex eye conditions including treatment and management of infectious or auto-immune related uveitis, scleritis, ocular complications of HIV/AIDS, and pre and post operative management of all types of patients with uveitis."

 Dr. Castiblanco earned her medical degree at Yale University School of Medicine followed by an internship at Greenwich Hospital. She then completed her residency in ophthalmology at Yale University School of Medicine and then attended a Fellowship in Uveitis at Massachusetts Eye Research and Surgery Institution (MERSI) in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
